Supervision of a border guard

The Self-Service Systems (SSS) shall be operated under the supervision of a border guard, who shall be in charge of detecting any inappropriate, fraudulent or abnormal use of the same. However, surveillance with Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras would be sufficient (for self-service system, e-gate, or both). Therefore, a border guard should be in the proximity of the camera in order to be able to intervene, in a reasonable time, if necessary.
